This is a story about a pretty girl and a nasty beast. One day her father met with this beast and he tried to kill him. Father was so afraid and asked him to let him go. But the beast wanted a promise. So father promised the beast to send one of his 3 daughters to stay with him. But only the youngest daughter agreed to go to the beast house.

At the end, the beast transformed to a handsome prince. They  got married and lived happily ever after.

My Spelling Bee by Troy

This is my first spelling bee for term 2. I wrote 4 words. My fastest time was 6 seconds. My slowest time was 19 seconds. I need to practise words with apostrophes.

Back at school again. Val taught us to draw self portraits. Drawing was not bad. But mixing colours to get our skin tone wasn't that easy. We are working hard here.

A Fun Day at "Car Racing" by Julia

Matthew, Joel and I went for a car racing event on Saturday. I helped our team with organizing things and Joel and Matthew did racing with others. Joel had good 3 laps but did not "crash" into any one. Matthew rode his car really fast and become the "fastest team drive" among the team.

Telling a story to the class

"The story of Rona", Our teacher Val told this Maori story to the class and we all had a turn to retell the story to the others. Some of us forgot some part of the story, but in the end we all managed it. We used nice pictures that we found in the internet to tell the story. 

This is a part of our "Trump programme" that we've been doing it the class this year.
