Fun Social Day by Julia

On Friday last week we went to a Disco

at the Tamaki Campus . We all wore

mufti and looked cool .I liked dancing

and singing along to the music. There was popcorn, chips and drink. It was FUN.

A big Thank you to Lionel who organized the day.

Social Disco day by Nikhil

On Friday 26th June We Went Tamaki Campus for disco. I was so happy to go there because I can dance with the boys. In the first round I won a blue cap for dancing well. I enjoyed well the music and the lighting. I danced with Keenen, Michael and Marciano. It was so good to be there.

Our soccer day by Matthew

On Thursday the 18th of June we went to the trust stadium. That was our soccer day. Dillon, Troy, and few others were with me in my team “angels”. We played 4 games but won only 2 games. We had lots of  fun. It was an awesome day.

Soccer Tournament by Julia

On Thursday 18th June We went to Henderson Trust Stadium to play Soccer.  I was really excited because this was my first time that I play soccer in a Tournament.  I was in the "Dolphin team" with Katy and Kyi Kaw. We won 2 games and lost 3. We all went in a big Bus  It was an awesome Day.

We went on Thursday 18.6.13. We went in a bus. It was held at Trust Stadium. We played 5 games but won only 2 games. Julia,kyi kyaw, Lauren, Natasha and few others were in the dolphins team with me. We had an excited and awesome day.

As usual we had our table tennis training day at HITT. Thanks to the all lovely couches there we could improve few skills and some friends of ours won certificates for the day as well.

Aladdin and the Magic Lamp by Mina

Aladdin was amazed. The flowers and fruits on the trees were made of multi coloured precious stones. Aladdin stuffed his pockets full of precious stones and coins. Then, he found the oil lamp. Aladdin took it and walked back to the bottom of the hole. He tugged on the rope. The magician appeared above and said “let me hoist up the oil lamp first.” sensing something was wrong, Aladdin demanded to be pulled up together with the lamp. The magician got angry. He chanted some magic words. suddenly, it was dark.Aladdin had been buried alive!

Teddy’s Birthday surprise by Julia

Teddy Bear woke up,  blinking at the sun shining into his room.

Downstairs, Mummy and Daddy  Bear laughed  and talked together .

But why did it feel a special  sort  of day?

“My birthday”! he remembered, jumping out of bed.

Pinocchio by Joel

Geppetto was an old toy maker. His beautiful toys had kept many children happy. Still, he was lonely for he had no children of his own.

One night, he sat carving a puppet from a block of wood. He lovingly shaped the puppet. Then, he put the finishing touches to it.

As he finished painting the mouth, the puppet suddenly came alive and said, “Papa.” Unknown to him, Geppetto had carved the puppet from magic wood that could speak.

He was thrilled to have a son. He said joyfully, “son, you shall be called Pinocchio”.

Making Gingerbread Men! by Katy

Kim is a baker. He works at a small bakery. He works with two other bakers who are called Ron and John. 

Ron and John make all the bread and savoury foods sold by the bakery. 

They bake breads such as french sticks, croissants, bread rolls, and flat Turkish bread. They also make meat pies, sausage rolls, and pizza sticks.

The Magic Blue Light by Nikhil

Long time back, there was a soldier who fought in many wars and made his kingdom proud. He was brave and determining. When the war was over, the king of the country did not give him a single penny and returned him back reward less. He was very annoyed with all that was done to him. While returning back through the jungle, it grew dark and the night approached. He started searching for a safe place to spend the night. He then, saw a house in the jungle. He went there and knocked at the door. an ugly, old witch came out. “yes, what do you want?” she asked.
